Hospice Nurses (Full Time and Per Diem)

Multiple RN positions are available for the Home Program. Active RN license with the State of Maine required. One year of nursing experience is required. One year of nursing experience in oncology, hospice, acute care and/or home care setting is preferred.

Hospice Aid (Full Time)

Multiple Hospice Aid positions available to provide direct hospice care to home hospice patients in their place of residence. CNA Certification required.  HHA certification is preferred but we will provide this training to the right individual! Ideal candidates are registered and active with the Maine State CNA Registry, have a high school diploma or equivalency, with a minimum of one year of CNA/HHA/HA experience (hospice/oncology experience preferred).

RN – Wound Care (40 hours/week)

The Wound Care RN, Home Care functions as a Home Care RN and applies wound, ostomy and/or continence nursing expertise to patients where care plan indicates such intervention is appropriate. Employee serves in a consultant capacity to co-workers when increased knowledge of this specialty will enable the co-worker to provide improved patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
  • 1 year of applicable experience.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
  • State of Maine licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Specialty certification in wound, ostomy or continence.
  • Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
