Advocacy & Government Affairs: Your voice matters. HCHAM brings provider concerns directly to policymakers through our Government Affairs Committee and year-round advocacy efforts. Members can join Alliance's Government Affairs Committee to help shape our industry's State and Federal legislative priorities.
The Alliance State House Lunch & Learn on April 15th gave legislators the chance to hear directly from our members. After a brief panel presentation, lawmakers asked thoughtful questions and engaged in meaningful discussion about the challenges and opportunities facing home care and hospice in Maine.
Committees & Networking: Alliance members are connected to a large base of home health, hospice and personal care agencies, and community partner businesses. The Executive Director and Board of Directors further represent member interests with the National Association for Home Care & Hospice, National Hospice and Palliative Care Association, Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Maine Division of Licensing and Certification, Office of Elder and Adult Services, Maine Department of Labor, State and National Legislators and other relevant stakeholders.
